So what can you expect from 4 hero live ? A spectacular event which
features a cast of 24 people (more than the Montreux line-up) who will
all take to the stage to perform material from 4 hero's debut album 'Two
Pages' and personally reinforce Mark & Dego's futuristic urban visions.
Everyone that has played on the album will be present, and the minimum
performance body count at any one time will be 16. All this and the
support of the Reinforced DJ's ? Life just doen't get any better.
As for 'Two Pages', it's a soundtrack for love, life and the uncertain
future, that perfectly showcases the many skills and talents of Mark Mac
& Dego and their supporting cast of a four-piece horn section, a string
octet; 1 bass player; 2 keyboards (played by Mark and Dego); 1 drummer
(Luke Parkhouse); 1 double-bass player (Andy Hammill); 1 jazz
saxophonist (Chris Bowden); 1 percussionist, 2 lead vocalists - namely
Face (better known for her choreography - but what a voice) and Carol
Crosby and two backing vocalists. Then to make their appearance totally
out of this world, Philly's finest contemporary poet - Ursula Rucker -
will appear alongside 4 hero.
'Two Pages' - 4 hero's debut album for Talkin Loud will be released
through Mercury Records on July 13th, 1998 followed by the single Star
Chasers on August 3rd, 1998.
This is a mere preview of things to come, with more live news to follow
in Autumn. 4 hero will tear the rule book in two - and tear it up.
Until Such Time.
