Is the E-mu a rackmount, stand alone, or keyboard?

I have a computer, but I don't think it'll be powerful enough:
Pentium 180
48 MB of RAM
SB16 Sound Card
1.5 GB HD with only 203.63 MB free.
I guess it now comes down to $$$. With the MPC 2000 I have to buy a Zip
Drive for it. With the SP-808 (same price) there is no need to put in a
Zip (it already comes with it) and it can also record/mix as a
workstation and it has filters/effects (definite plus). However, I've
just heard horror stories about Roland samplers and I don't know what to
make of the "D beam controller". With the computer, I will have to
upgrade it significantly in order to run the programs smoothly. What
software should I investigate into for the last option? How much more
does my computer need to be able to do the job? Prices? Again, all
leads are greatly welcomed.
