I hear ya. Me, and several other people have given that request.
Unfortunately, I've found out the perpetrators don't *read* the list, they
only just *post* to it, which means they're only here to promote and not to
really be a part of it. So pretty much the people that need to hear what
you're saying are ignoring you.
I do know that those here who *do* mention their cities/metropolitan areas
in the subject line for events,
are good, upstanding members of the list, and are known to read and
contribute on regular threads in this list.
