Most of the rec.music.hip-hop critics who dissed the Peas did in mainly on
those grounds.
A lot of those people said the lyrics were "played out" but I know
personally that a lot of those songs have been around for a couple years,
and the major part of the lyrics have been around for at least that long,
it's just now that they've been released to the public.

It's not the fact that they didn't like it, everyone's entitled to that,
but to make stupid-ass ad-hominem comments towards the Peas themselves...as
someone who knows them personally, that obviously bothers me.

I found them hilarious. You really have to be from L.A. to really
understand the humor in those skits...
