I kinda disagree about the R&B jungle mixes...true, they seem out of place,
and I wouldn't picture myself buying any of it, but some of it does make
for good dancefloor stuff, and most importantly, it's really there as a
stepping stone to wean R&B/commercial hip-hop folks into more interesting
ground. I know a couple jungle DJs who work the R&B/pop remixes into more
serious jungle material real well in their sets. And besides, some ragga
artist will quote from a pop tune anyway, and that will turn up in a jungle
mix, so it's not like there's any way you can avoid it...
