I have a pre release of the UNKLE cd, some good tracks but not a ground
breaking record imho. Sounds like they are biting Bug's Infinite

yeah, i heard it and it didn't bite me either, though it was nice. went
to the album release party for it thursday in nyc at the beautiful
modern restaurant/bar lot 61 and was pleasantly surprised to have the
chance to chat up james lavelle and dj shadow -- all in the same room.

this will be an incredible event not to be missed! carl craig's band
has never before performed in the u.s. outside of wmc in miami. he is
an incredible producer and deserves massive respect! those of you going
on tuesday, july 28, at the 7th note in san franciso, please come by and
say hello. i'm sure i'll be around somewhere, maybe working. other
north beach jazz festival events include the pharoh sanders performance
at coit tower tomrorrow -- sunday.
