"we want miles" is the tour album for the "man w/the horn" tour feat. marcus
"thriller" miller (bass), mike stern (gtr), al foster (dr), and bill evans
(not the deceased pianist from "kind of blue", the sax guy). essentially it
was his first tour after his 5 year hiatus. i like it, but it's listening
music, not dance music. it's not as far out as what he was doing in the
70s,
but it's not as gratingly "nice" as a lot of 80s funk/jazz became.
