I have only one comp. from Irma, "GoDisco". A bit cheesy with noless
than three Sylvester tracks out of the thirteen tracks on the cd (
don't get me wrong, Sylvester did some great stuff, this is however not
three of his best songs). There is also some Discotunes that seem to be
on every crappy, lowbudget boogie-compilation ever made like Cheryl Lynn
"Got to be real" and Melba Moore "You stepped into my life". Good
tunes, but nothing new to the veteran Rare Groove-collector. But apart
from that there's some great shit on the cd like "Ghettos of the mind"
with Pleasure and "I believe in miracles" with the Jackson Sisters. I
had been looking for these two tracks for quite some time without any
luck so the IRMA comp. was a bargain for me. Eh, what am I trying to say
then? If you find it with a nice pricetag on it, get it, even if you're
not a Discofan, most of the stuff on it is just great
JazzFunkSoulGospelshit!
