I definitely think the type of jungle/dnb covered on this list deserves
mention, mainly because it's been overlooked and ignored by the general
jungle 'mainstream' (i.e. raves, jungle clubs, etc). Most of the people
I've encountered on the net who either make, spin or enjoy jungle 90% of
the time are into darktsep, techstep, etc, and their opinions of more
jazzier-sounding artists like Photek and Adam F range from "okay" to
"boring" to "sucks" (see alt.music.jungle). For them, if it doesn't have
bone-crushing bass or violent breakbeats, it's not jungle. Fine then...

Acid jazz is still alive...it just has fast-tempo breakbeats now. Only the
played-out '70s retro thing has died out.
