Well, first of all, a bit of respect to salt and peppa who really did a
nice version of the song (gotta give em some credit for that :-). As far as
I know the original song is written by Davel Crawford and recorded and sung
by Linda Lyndell (what happen to her? I know I heard something about it
sometime but memory doesent serve me well tonight...).

Anyway, Linda Lyndells version is actually very close to the salt and peppa
one. A bit rougher perhaps and very nice indeed. It was orginally released
on Volt (single 4001) in 1968 but can be found rereleased on "Jazz Dance
Classics vol 4" out on Luv N Haight (LHCD 021).
