Weahter is excellent today here in Holland, bringing up a strong need =
for fresh sounds..
I found Curtis Mayfield's Superfly in the bargain bin. An all-time =
classic and it's as good as many listees have written here. Not too many =
scratches and the ticks could be removed without too much effort.
The best of Horace Andy, a not so new compilaton. If you like his stuff =
with Massive you'll like this as well.
Two new hip hop 12"s: M.F Grimm "Do it for the kids" and Hip Hop =
Indpendents day record 3 feat. Shawn J. Period and =
Polyrhytm-addicts..great great great.
I gave a listen to the Lyricist Lounge 4! lp. It's good but as Beside =
mentioned to me it's not that good. The best stuff did already come out =
on 12"s..There was one track on it by Sarah Jones (if I remember the =
name correctly), a spoken word track accompanied by jazzy drums. Did she =
do anything beside of this?
