Just to let you know, I'm starting up an Eighth Dimension mailing list.
Here's the description:
This mailing list concerns Orlando's Eighth Dimension collective and its
artists, including Q-Burns Abstract Message, Pimp Daddy Nash, DJ BMF, and
Dynagroove. Discussion may also cover other labels Eighth Dimension is
associated with, such as Astralwerks, Mephisto, and Ubiquity. Downtempo DJ
culture and other groove-oriented artists may make it on here as well.
Eighth Dimension artists will regularly participate by giving news,
information, and answers to questions posted by members.
This list is a part of the 'onelist' service. To subscribe to this list,
you need to go to the Onelist site at:
Go to 'find a list' and then either search on 8thdimension, q-burns, or
whatever... or you can go to the Music category and then to the MC/DJ
category. It's a lot easier than it sounds! E-mail me personally if you
have any questions.
The list should be relatively low traffic, but filled with information on
the growing US downtempo beats scene. Hope to see you there.
