Hey folks, I just picked up a cd by the JB Horns called "I like It =
Like That", thinking that it would be some of their older 70's output, =
only to find that it's fairly new sounding acid-jazz. Sure, "This Is =
Acid-Jazz" is written at the top right hand corner of the album jacket, =
but I figured that it was just another of the many old rereleases that =
we've been seeing lately. Anyway, the record's really good and features =
Peewee, Fred and Maceo but the liner notes don't indicate a recording =
date and don't tell me much about it. I was wondering if any of u folks =
own it or have seen it, or if anyone knows more about it. The record =
cover has old photos of each of the 3 musicians, and it's out on Instint =
Records and is liscensed by Soulciety Records out of Germany. If u like =
acid-jazz, this one's worth checking out. Any other info. would be cool
Keep Bumpin'
Stimpson
