i'm not exactly sure if they'll have what you're after, but try Off The
Record in Hillcrest first. They have a decent collection of everything that
falls under the AJ umbrella, though their prices are a bit high. Also the
Music Trader in Pacific Beach has a good selection (check out the dance
section, and the right-hand-side counter). If you're willing to go for a
drive, i'd recommend going to lou's records in encinitas
(http://www.lousrecords.com; email em and ask if they've got what you
want). lotsa great stuff here.
hope ya find what you're lookin for, but half the fun of AJ is just finding
it.
