future funk is a comp series that would compile most of the big tunes of the
year in the bag of a lot of stuff we tend to talk about on this list (e.g.,
hiphop, house, d&b, triphop), kinda in the same way that "dope on plastic"
does, except that it was more comprehensive, and a little more mainstream,
sometimes.
