Hey Mark, where did u see this record, it rocks!!! This was released
during the time that Miles had his second big quintet (Herbie Hancock, Tony
Williams, Wayne Shorter and Ron Carter as well as himself) and is a very
strong record. It should be noted, however, that it is NOT one of his funk
records, but an amazing straight jazz session that was released about 7
years after it was recorded. If you like records like E.S.P. or Miles
Smiles, then this one will be right up you alley. If you don't know these
records but like jazz, I would recommend this record without hesitation!!
I'd like to have the URL if u found this record online as well as the price,
cos I've been looking for it for about three years now and could only find a
Japanese import for about $50 (which I'm not willing to spend). Anyhoo, I
hope this helps you out!
Jazzin' it up,
Stimpson
