No, not Bristol, but, the stuff coming out of Cali now. I picked up
60channels by The Angel that has some really smooth d'n'b beats, that
reminds me of som of the Bugs, and Nuophonic stuff, also the new 12" out by
D Beigel of Bugs, 'Skyjuice'. Any leads on other stuff in the same vein?
Ozomatli -- if you don't have this get it. Great latin acid-jazz with
horns and one of the few mostly instrumental (give Cut Chemist his props)
that has a really good rapper, Chali 2na from Jurassic 5. Also the vocals
have those great latin voices.
Squarepusher "Big Loda" -- love the first track more drum'n'bass than
drill'n'bass but still fun, also those with a Mac can check out a QT of the
video for 'come on my selector'--the first track.
