Release 4 comes out in December, and now you can get it for $60-70, not
sure if its both PowerPC and Intel. Check out their web site for details
(http://www.be.com), but, BeOS is faster than both Windows and the
Macintosh. And there is a 303/808 emulator (think ReBirth) called, Rack747,
or somthing, and ObjectSynth a modular synth check the BeWare section of
the Be site for the allaround sound
