A few quick notes:

Jaz Klash - collaboration between LA-based DJ, The Angel, and Bristol's
More Rockers, this album is a great jazzy drum'n'bass album with a strong
beat. Remixes by DJ Die and Suv. Vaguely reminiscent of LTJ Bukem but has
it's own character. I saw The Angel at Aron's in Hollywood and enjoyed her
set. Supposedly she's doing a set on Thursday...don't know more.

Deeper Concentration - second future of intelligent hip-hop compilation by
the wonderful folks at OM Records. Strong album overall, represented by
people like Siah & Yeshua, the Beat Junkies, Rob Swift, Spooky & Organized
Konfusion, Mix Master Mike, Push Button Objects, and many more. My
favorite track is "Brother in the Back" by Ill Media and anyone with more
info on this guy would be welcomed. Mix of various sounds and styles,
something for everyone: insane scratching, rapping, and hip-hop beats mixed
together in various ways and means.

Simply Jeff's new album sounds really good, future funk in a sense, but I
haven't purchased it yet. Any more info on this would be appreciated.

Also, has anyone heard James Hardway's new full-length? I'm dying to hear it!
