hello! errr... this question is probably not too acid jazzy (it's
actually not very pleasant) but it'll be quick i promise.
For the past 6 or so months i have drastically increased the amount of
time i put into practicing technical turntable trickery. I have noticed
that the nail on my left index finger is super sensitive and i was
wondering why one side of the nail was growing slower. It seems that on
the one side, the nail is thinner and it hurts when pressed on. I put
two and two together the other night and realized that when wiggling and
jiggling the fader for hours on end, the bottom part of my index finger
is occasionally sliding against the mixer. It hasn't worn down or
anything, it's just weaker. weird...
Is this something anyone has run into? Is it a technique issue? Don't I
really can't think of a way to remedy it. Any tips would be much
appreciated. It's getting painful to scratch! =(
