Ok, here goes: first, see the netiquette at:

In short, having too many commercial postings is no good. One every
week is definitely an upper limit I think. Two posts a month should be
no problem at all. One per week might be ok.
If you want more frequent postings about new arrivals, then you should
start your own mailing list, or at least give people the chance to say
no to these posts.
As a general note, it is possible to make good/interesting post even
if providing something on a commercial basis. It's all in the way the
information is presented.
Also, the information *must* suit/relate to this mailing
list. Information about general new releases is not welcome here; we
have enough traffic as it is.
