In the Bag: (the good stuff)

Joe Clausell, Cosmic Rituals (Spiritual Life): the alternate demo takes
(nice & spacey, percussive, housey)

Miyazawa, Afrosick remix (Afrosick): this is a fat japanese record with some
eclectic brazilian beats and some fat housey stuff

Extended Spirit: Solid Water (DIalog) - had no idea what I was getting into
with this one - excellent downtempo beats from Germany, the way they should
be, lots of nice play with syncopation and hip hop breaks with synth
overlay, bouncing into drum & bass & back down

Kings of Slow Bizz: Samba Saravah (Saravah) - a tasty franco-bossanova
joint, with french lyrics & sexy style. There's a mix that's got a slowed
down samba rhythm that could work well with a double time d&b overlay, for
the adventurous of course.

Tony Allen - Ariya remixes - need I say more?

Bobby Hughes Experience (Ultimate Dilemma) - Funk used to be a bad word!!
fat drum breaks with hammond organ solos & the likes, but a groovy original
sound, not one of these jimmy smith wannabe groups... 2 uptempo & 2
downtempo trax

El the Sensei - Frontline (Fatbeats) - dope beats & lyrics, featuring Pharoa
Monche & Prince Po of Organized Konfusion, Mike Zoot, & FT of Street
Smartz... Production by Shawn J.

L-Fudge, Mathematik, Bahamadia - Superrapin (groove attack) - another fresh
hip hop rekkid

So that's my share of fat new jointz....

still tryin to assimilate Fela box set - I think it's going to take
years....
