I'm not sure of how much interest this will
be to ajazz listees, but this year's SONAR
looks pretty ok. Anyone that's planning on
being there, please email me and maybe we
can organize a mini list meeting. But not
during Joe Claussel's set, no way.
Even though I have a few problems with the
promoters of sonar (Advanced Music), I still
have to admit that they put on a good event.
And if any American government agency would
actually put forth public funds for this kind
of talent, I'd have to start pledging to the
flag every morning-- the Generalitat rules.
(even if their insistence on dubbed movies is
questionable)
