Label of the Month
The Communion Label was born in Atlanta somewhere around 1987 and
escaped to San Francisco in 1989. The twelve years in between only
*seem* like forever to The Communion Label's two employees. Also
check The Communion Label Sampler this month.

This Month?s Featured Style
Lo-Fi: Lo-fi stems from home 4-track recordings. It focuses on a range
of sounds that key in on the song itself with little concern for the
quality of the sound recording itself.

What?s New in Dance / Electronic
==============================

Greetings friends and a special welcome to all newcomers from the
CDuctive Dance and Electronic. It has been a very busy month for
the team, so let us get under way with the who's what's and where's to
it all.

Pre-release/ Exclusives
Check the rinsed out sounds of Roni Size's "Windrush," which will leave
most a drooling mess after witnessing the programming acrobatics of this
Drum 'n' Bass innovator. Ram Trilogy make certain that Krust's future
classic "Warhead" gets a proper re-working that is certain to please
any accolade. Nothing will prepare you for the death-ray zap of
"Shrinkwrap" or "Funktion" by Rush & Optical, who serve lessons to
the slackers. All is complete when Ray Keith stretches his wings
on "Now Is The Time" (quite an illuminated piece) or "Do It" that
has a splash of Lemon D for taste!

Label of the Month
Sound Men On Wax is the brain child of Shuji Hiroshi and he has making
certain that this label is on every DJ's lips and in every clubber's
ear. Sound Men On Wax has an international appeal with a very NY
attitude.

This Month?s Featured Style
House: House music was born in the mid-1980's and its development was
spearheaded by the underground scene in both Chicago and New York. Since
that time, the house movement has gone global, with Europe in particular
contributing many new sounds.
