Although I'm not a DJ, I have some experience with electronic gagetry...

I suggest going to Radio Shack or any hardware or electronic parts store
and getting Contact Cleaner spray, preferably one that's safe for
plastics. Not only can this thing help your catridge contacts, but your
RCA connectors and other equipment too.

Save the toungue for other purposes...heh
