I play percussion in a nine-piece band called Family Fandango, based in
the south-east of England.
We have been playing our own compositions for over five years and get a
good reception from people who see us as we do know how to fire up a
crowd.
Despite enjoying the gigs we have played we really need to get out of
playing locally and spread the word.
Can anyone on the list recommend venues / club nights in and around
London that would be receptive to some hard funk?
We are looking for places with their own crowd and a desire to hear
original tunes with a funk/latin/hip-hop vibe.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated,
