Actually Archive is based in Italy. They are associated with Dego's 2000
Black label (who released a remix of Nubian Minds which was orig out on
Archive and people like Mustang have releases on Archive and 2000 Black).
Did you go to Honest Jons while in London? What'd you think?

Shaw(!!!)lately. sorry forget the name of it)

Deadbeats LP(?) They appeared on the first Mushroom Jazz with 'Pick me up'

Tom Tyler - He has a few things out on Depth Charge. I have a 10" that's
sweet and mellow... keep an eye out.
Various - Freezone 5 (i don't know how downtempo this is but its good)
Classics:
Visit Venus - Music for Space Tourism Vol. 1
Nightmares on Wax- Carboot soul, Smokers Delight.
Nobasaku Takemura Spiritual Vibes , Childs View
Attica Blues - Everything!
Kid Loco - Grand Love Story
Dj Cam - Mad Blunted Jazz
Funki Porcini - Head Phone Sex
Thievery Corporation - Sounds From A Thievery Hi-Fi
Beanfield: Human Patterns
This falls into the category however i haven't heard it yet, anyone have it
and care to comment on it?
On a (maybe not) related note there is a fairly new label in London called
Archive that i picked up some mindblowing stuff on. One of which was Degos
new project (oh my god!!!). I'll have to post some reviews about some new
stuff, i picked up a crate while i was travelling (this list doesn't really
touch upon most of the most recent purchases). For those interested, my top
picks for record stores... 'Release the Groove' wins hands down in London,
'Rush Hour' was the place to be in Amsterdam., and in Berlin all the goods
were at 'Soultrade'.

I would recommend the following:
*Kruder & Dorfmeister "Sessions" - disc 2 of this is my all time favourite
CD and a downtempo masterwork IMHO
*Thievery Corporation "Abductions & Reconstructions"
*Peace Orchestra "Peace Orchestra"
All should be easy to get and you can listen to tracks on line at Amazon
etc.
