Ah, those compilations are great. III is probably the
best, but the other two are basically the same stuff. I
think the best compilation of that stuff is "Brazillian
Thoroughfare" which is also compiled by Rainer Truby of
Forest Mighty Black, but is on Luv n' Haight (ubiquity)
instead of Compost.
Basically, those complilations are full of European Jazz
joints (prodominantly German) that are of Brazilian
influence. It's a no-lose formula, as that era of Jazz
from both continents is amazing.
Best track on III is without a doubt the song by Niagra.
Anyone out there have an original to spare?
