We Kiss You!
It's time again to inform you on our activity in Budapest. This weekend Shuriken was too busy prepairing for his exams, so he missed the radio show (http://tilos.hu/musorok/vasarnap0600.ram). On this cold Sunday morning Keyser made heroic efforts to keep the mix going on, later the third host dj of the show, Lee'n'gum helped in for a while.
This week we had the great opportunity to play for the first time an exclusive promo of the forthcoming Yonderboi album (entitled Shallow and Profound - due to release sometimes in February on the UCMG label <http://www.ucmg.de>). The young Hungarian talent has already made it to a compilation (Future Sounds of Budapest) with a perfectly chill-out track (Pink Solidism) based on the Fender Rhodes groove of The Doors' Riders On The Storm. In the review of the compilation in Muzik magazine (UK) (more than a year ago) this tune was mentioned as the stand-out track. So now, after an EP on Juice he is back with a vengeance: the album is filled with atmospheric sounds, russian easy listening samples and dope beats. Something to look out for. (We played three tracks of him: Milonga del Mar< Real Audio start: 02:37:25>, Pabadam <02:53:05> and Pink Solidism (Riders on the Storm) <03:51:10>).
Lovers of the 10" format: don't miss Cookin Records's Soul Food boxed set (http://www.glo.star.co.uk/labels/cr_frame.html). The amazing graphic design is just the topping. Real vinyl junkies won't be disappointed by the 5 plates of sonic pleasure (by Blame, Artemis, Intersphere, K-Scope and co.). I couldn't help to play almost the whole album in Club "Suss Fel Nap" this week. Just Great! (Except for that it's a limited edition of 5000 - hurry up!)
