>"Sweet Thing" by Rufus with Chaka Khan.
For more Rufus/Chaka action, check out "Any Love" (off "Masterjam" 1980) for
some very well produced & catchy dancefloor action, or their 1977 LP "Ask
Rufus" which is an incredibly sweet soul lp.
A question for the trainspotters among us: was "Sweet Thing" ever released
(or re-released) in 12" format? Just curious.
Any additional Rufus & Chaka Khan tips/discussion is welcome.. ;)
cheers,

PS. if you liked the uptempo numbers on Ashley Beedle's "Grassroots"
compilation, you seriously might want to check out Dave Lee aka Joey Negro's
EXCELLENT disco compilations Jumpin', Jumpin' 2, Disco Spectrum and Classic
Disco Mastercuts on various UK-based reissue labels.
