A few words about the recent (Giant Step) thread:
1. Complaints should be directed to me. This way I know what list
members feel, and it also saves the list from a lot of noise.
2. This list welcomes information about events, from all around the
world. However, it is part of the list rules that one *has to*
write a note about the town or place in the subject line.

"Press delete" is no good advice. It is never the responsibility of
the list subscriber to delete spam.
3. Giant Step's messages - if they were to follow our rules - are
appreciated and welcome. The opposite is also true: is they do not
follow list rules, then they are not welcome.
(Andrew - please let me know if this will be a problem)
4. Never flame on the list. Have your fights somewhere else,
if you have to...
