Sorry for the delay, Pirkka.
One of Nina's best known songs is called "My Baby Just Cares For Me". It's
on various jazz vocal compilations, as well as at least two of Nina's
releases from the late sixties (?). it's well worth tracking down. G'luck.

Subject: Nina Simone/See Line Woman
One more time folks.. does anyone know which original Nina
Simone LP
contains the song "See-Line Woman" that Kerri Chandler &
Jerome Sydenham
sampled to make up most (the afro-rhythm, the flute, the
vocals) of
their last year's track?
Thus far I've only seen it on a Philips compilation. Also,
anybody want
to recommend some essential Nina Simone LP's / tracks? I
haven't got any
of her stuff myself and would very much like to catch up..
;)
thanks,
pirkka
