Thats probably the V96 they also make the infamous Vinyl Killer, and I do
have one--also got one for my Brother for Christmas. Unfortuanly you need
a level place and it can only play 33 1/3 records, but, it is still a
blast. I ordered them direct from Vacuum Records in Japan
(http://www.osk.3web.ne.jp/~vacuum05/head.html) they also sell the V96
which is the battery powered turntable that does play 45s. They were
cheaper when I bought them in December (took less than a week to come),
but, now that the Yen has been getting stronger than the Dollar the've gone
up in price by a couple of dollars, but, that probably won't hinder them.
Pro Sound & Stage Light has the other portables from Paco (DJ mixer (GMX-3
01) & Turntable (GP-3R 01)), there was a JockeySlut article a while back of
some Japanese DJs who took that setup to the streets of London until they
got hired for a gig in a club. Dusty Groove also sold Vinyl Killers, but,
must have gone out of stock.
