For those who decided to endure the heat Sunday, you may have caught a
wonderful Jazz festival at Freedom Plaza in D.C., One group in particular
led by Nils Petter Molvaer, a Norweigan trumpet player, stood out in my
mind as the best, They blended a Massive Attack/Miles
Davis/Sweetbaack-ish
sound to make beautiful noise amidst the haze.
If anyone has their cds or has heard of the Norweigan's, please email me
back some comments about which is the best to buy or other information
about the band
P.S. Has anyone caught Jamiroquai live? How are they without the original
bass player?
