To that I add where's the soul of man, paraphrasing the great Mike
Kirkland. I'm into future music and all that chic shit. But sometimes
you want to hold your chin in your left hand and stroke yourself
meditatively.
The reason for my confusion is UFO, I checked them out on friday (hi
sybil) and it was shit. It wasnt exactly shit, its just that it wasnt
acid-jazz or soul-ful just one disapointing house tune after the
other.. as they attempted to pound the crowd into submission...
A few latin killers but nothing much else happening. The innerzone
orchestra was cool with the man carl craig keeping it unreal. Played
the hits live; Bug in a bassbin, people make the world go round....
Gilles P. did an ok set nothing special...
All in all it wasn't exactly a waste of money but then again.... It
just ain't funky no more....
