Hello all. For those of you interested in the below tracks, I have a (close
to) 30 minute mix up on the Internet Ghetto Blaster for your listening
pleasoore.
http://www.igb.com/ <http://www.igb.com/>
It's in the right grey column on the left....
Cornelius- "Mic Check"
DJ Scruff- "So Long"
King Kooba- "Koobesque"
Mass Influence- "Rhyme Placement"
DJ Swingsett & J. Warrin- "Traversin'"
Herbalizer- "When i Shine [Featuring Bahamadia]"
Badmarsh & Shri- "Gharana"
Extended Spirit- "Caprice"
Pressure Drop- "Got to be for Real (Attica Blues Dub)"
Notorious B.I.G.- "Unbelievable"
Also on the left under "Featured Underground Sounds" you might want to check
out EDK's Science of a Giant EP. Futuristic abstract freejazz style beats.
Also take a listen to "Sweetie". Smooth drum and bass with female vocals.
I'm diggin this track, but i think i might be biased because i know the
girl... so lemme know your thoughts. It won't turn you inside out and leave
your guts on the floor... but it's pretty! hmmm... I think what i want to
hear is a lot more experimenting with the beats. The melody/vocals are great
though. Both of these are local Philadelphia artists BTW.
peace,
aRgo
