Hiya Jonathan,

Thanks for all those reviews ... at least one of us got all the way to the
end! Coupla questions...

How does this one compare with the Abstract Fusion thing you mentioned a
couple of weeks ago? I've probably only got the $$ to spring for one of
'em, and Abstract Fusion is proving tough to track down. Is it worth the
chase above the Body and Soul thing in your opinion, and if so, any ideas
where I might pick it up on the web?

Haven't heard the new 'Very Mercenary" album, but liked parts of the 'Blow
Your Headphones' album. Both albums also feature the MC What What, who has
a great voice too (along with Bahamadia that is ... when will she be
releasing another album??). Herbaliser also did a very nice remix of the
Jessica Lauren track 'Treasure Island' (or was it 'Uptown') on MELT 2000.
In fact, this Jessica Lauren album ('Film') sounds from the 12" like it
will be worth tracking down ... very atmospheric jazz, which is apparently
the product of recording a live jazz quintet and then fucking around in
post-production to get some great grooves and interesting sounds. (Thanks
to Mark T. for recommending the 12")

Any pointers on where we might be able to get a sample listen to this?
High praise indeed!

Take it easy,
Kboi
