I would definitely recommend the Body and Soul compilation.
Each track is extremely strong on its own, yet melts into
a coherent and potent mix. The Abstract Fusion thing is
nice to have, but not every single track is a winner. And
plus, you'd have to buy both the vinyl and the CD to get
the whole Track Mode flavor.

If you're having trouble finding the "Abstract Fusion"
compilation, your best bet would be to look on the (very nice)
Track Mode web site: www.trackmode.com
There you can email the label owner, Brett Dancer, who
is very friendly and helpful.

"Tigermilk" has nothing to do with "acid jazz" but for me
personally is one of the best examples of pop for us wimps.
Your best bet is to check out their official web site, which
I believe is at www.jeepster.co.uk, then follow the links
to Belle and Sebastian. If you can't listen to it there,
I know it was available to listen on the Inrockuptibles
(*excellent* French magazine) site: www.inrockuptibles.com

Hope that helps!
