It's funny, now I feel like a psychiatric patient :) It's
not really a patience problem. Having spent thousands of
wasted, yet recouped, dollars on FAX CDs, I think my patience
is intact ;) But there's inevitably one or two songs (at least)
that just grate on my nerves; at least no one really sequences
the mix as just one track on the CD anymore, I think...

On a totally unrelated note, Mark Eitzel and his latest group
of musicians have been playing a song at their latest live
shows called "Free Your Mind and Your Ass Will Follow",
essentially directed at the fundamentalist establishment.

Someone mentioned the David Holmes mix CD, and I am willing
to sell my copy, again, slightly underwhelmed. But I paid
quite a bit for it and am a very selfish trader, so approach
at your own risk.

Also, Arnault Castel asked for clarification on "inflated"
and "deflated" skills. Many mix CDs are digitally edited
to produce a completely seamless mix that was originally
beyond the capabilities of the DJ. As far as skill deflation
goes, who knows how Wax Trax could call Juan Atkin's mix a
"Mastermix", track selection aside. Again, Mark Turner leads
the way, I agree that a little retouching doesn't really matter,
whether it was done live or not is really of little
consequence.

I'll go ahead and offend some more people and wonder why
the Kruder & Dorfmeister remix compilation is selling so
many copies, this is probably bankrolling all of K7's
recent and impending output...I thought it was mediocre,
but I'm a lot happier that people are buying this, than
say...Ibiza Mix 99..or...something on Shadow Records.

Is "E luxo so" one of the most beautiful records released
this year or what?

Jonathan
