Funk'd Up Soul'd Out @ The Jazz Club

Another lovely little turn out on and full marks to Calvin for the
Hip-hop set. All in we had about 200 people dancing mouth agape to the
glory of Funk. There is life in Hong Kong yet. The funk that had most
people going was

Skull Snaps It's a new day
Mickey and The Soul Tornados Iron Leg
Boogaloo Hot Pants Breakdown
Fatback Band Do the Bus-stop
We had to finish early as most of us work the next day,
however...(sing hosanna, allah be praised)....we are going to have our
first all-nighter on Thursday, 1st April. It is on the eve of the
five day Easter break (Good Friday next day). So let's push on through
to dawn. Might even throw in some gospel funk to get in the spirit of
that weekend.
