No! Simply running an audio out cable from your computer to DAT won't cut
it.
Your Computer audio is digital, and so is your DAT, but when it turns
into an audio signal, it has to convert to analog and you get noise.

it does, connect that (using a good quality "high definition" RCA cable
to the digital (or SP/DIF) IN of your DAT. That way, your audio stays
digital and doesn't degrade in quality.
I have a Midimand Dman. It's all analog. What's a good cheap coverter
that has SP/DIF? Thanks
