i have to say that between the hours of 12 noon and 8pm
on the weekdays that there's really no music worth
listening to in l.a. i will listen to the mix shows on
92.3 the beat or power 106 (105.9 fm) strictly to hear
the skills of the djs--the guys that are on the
turntables (not to be confused w/the "on-air
personalities"--e.g., theo), and as soon as the mix is
over i usually switch to npr news.

after 8pm, if i'm not at home/work i might check in to
see what jason's playing until he starts in w/the house
& techno, then i check out kpfk (90.7fm) until garth
comes on at 10. i listen to garth until he starts
playing house--then i turn off the radio!!

there's so much music out there and i don't understand
why it seems like everyone's trying to beat each other
to the same stuff!!
