Hi guys,
Here's the lowdown on Corduroy....
They've had some time out and have come back with a fresh approach on the
new album. The sound is very different and will surprise people (pleasantly
though!) and it should broaden out their fanbase as well as
satisfying their old fans.
Rob Playford has produced the forthcoming album - (also produced the first,
acclaimed, Goldie album) and it is a real mixture of sounds, from banging
full on dance, bit of drum on bass, jazz funky workouts,
Pizzicato Five type singalongs (as in their first single from the new
album - 'Moshi Moshi' - released 7th June). It is actually brilliant.
The album will be called 'Clik!' ('Click!' in Japan) and is due for a UK
release early August.
Towards the back end of next week - I'll release a soundclip from 'Moshi
Moshi' - check out the site!
