Actually, F Comm was started by Eric Morand and Laurent Garnier,
out of the ashes of the FNAC label's dance division. But Galliano
now does the A&R for a new label distributed by F Comm, Frikiya.
The first releases are some new remixes of 70's Afrian music,
well worth seeking out.
Of all the comps on F Comm, my personal favorite is LIVE AND
RARE, a double-CD boxed set of (yep!) live and rare tracks.
One CD is more housey, the other more techno, but overall it
offers the most representative overview of the F Comm label.
And I believe it's a limited-edition, so look for it soon!
