Sorry, this was also mentioned... but just wanted to tell you that this comp
here is exactly what you want!!! Tribes of Da Underground Vol 4: strings 'n'
bass & things. It's on german label, Infracom. There are a couple tracks on
there with these cellos or violins or whatever, that are fucking badass. I'm
going to have to dig up my Clubbed to Death 12" and mix it with this...
didn't even occur to me till now. thanks!

We just had a thread on this earlier, the 'Kurayamino Variation' is the
track on The Matrix soundtrack, its done by Rob Dougan who's done stuff
with Andea Parker, and has a mixtape out. As for the CD good luck, I've
got a precious copy of the second 12", but wasn't sure if there was a CD.
For the ultimate you should search around for the French movie "Clubbed To
Death" that was inspired by the track.
