Just picked up "Macramé Revolution". Ha Ha! that shit is hilarious. There is
a drawing of a guy all macked out in macramé with his hands on his hips,
looking all hard on the cover... Diggin' all this stuff, picked up
Generation 78 as well. Nicks stuff is always dope. Anyone have the Orchard
comps 1 and 2? Figured i might as well collect them all for 6 bones a pop.
Just got the new Blacklicious! It's fat as hell... yet very different. I
like the track that is like a story tale, about the rise and fall of a
sellout. Don't sleep!
London Jazz Classics on Soul Jazz. Great comp. Breezed through it and there
was no question... right in the purchase stack.
LTJ Bukem: Earth 3. Never got it because of the price... but it's too good
to pass up so i bit the bullet. Real smooth, always kind of LTJ atmospheric,
but gets pretty funky and a little bossa nova at times. I like it so much
because most of it is fat beats at a hip hop tempo and not all drum and
bass(of which there is a track or two) and there are a couple smooth house
tempo tracks. Recommended.

just got the new release Audio messages. Mixed by none other than
Nickodemus of the list and Giant step fame.
"... a seamless flow of uninterupted, otherwordly rhythms expertly mixed

there are two tunes on the cd by "Junebug Prods" which is the
collaboration of listees Jay B and Nick, the two songs themselves are
quite tasty.
