Well I'm going to disagree with BOTH of you, and I haven't even heard
the Thievery Corp one! Sure, the DJ KICKS series has it's ups and
downs, but overall it's the most consistent mix series out there, IMHO.
Some of my favorites: Kruder & Dorfmeister, Andrea Parker, Smith &
Mighty, Terranova, and Rockers Hi-Fi. All of these successfully mix
a variety of musical styles while cultivating an individual personality.
What more can you want? What is this "flow" you're talking about,
Jonathan? Do you want it to sound like 70 minutes of the same track?
That's almost what the Kemi & Storm one is, to me. Or some of the
early techno mixes K7 put out. Boring! I much prefer DJ's whose
musical knowledge stretches beyond a single genre, and who can link
disparate tracks in a way that makes sense musically. I don't give
a damn whether it's properly beat-matched. But that's just my opinion.

Oops, it's past my bedtime... ;-)
