future sound of jazz volume six (compost)
massive compilation once again, but i dont think as strong as the last
one. i purchased the CD today and listened to it two and a half times
(my rule before i make any sort of comments is to listen more than once
rather than rush judgement...you never know if something will hit the
2nd or 3rd time around)...
my personal pics that i will probably end up playing out:
restless soul: son of ra ra : great phil asher gem im looking forward to
getting on vinyl soon
ian o brien : moonlight: wow. well done composition!
fauna flash: at the movies : again, a most excellent tune!
modaji : underwater pressure : can this group do no wrong? i dont think i
have ever heard a modaji tune i cant dig!
overall, a solid series that only strengthens the series reputation
as one of the few consistent compilations out there.
now if i can only get some of these people to come to detroit....
