I'm surprised the new Terry callier was not discussed earlier on the list.
Perhaps it's because the CD wears the mentioned: "To be filed under
pop/rock" ??!?!?!?
There are two/three MOR tracks here (but I still like theme)
Lyrics are not always perfect (but I don't really care).
My favourite tracks are #1, #11 and #8 the duet with Beth Orton (did this
feature on Beth's own CD???)
The thing is : i cannot get enough of Terry's voice.
Arguably, some of his earlier release on Cadet (e.g. What colour is love)
are perhaps better than Lifetime, but it make one of the top record of the
year so far for me...
But why is this on BlueThumb (a subsidiary of Verve???) and not Talking
Loud ? just wondering...
