ARTISTS BIO’S

DJ VADIM: Russian born, U.K. raised beat master hits Los Angeles to support
his new release USSR: Life From the Other Side. While his early releases are
primarily instrumental, Vadim has approached broad acceptance as more MCs
and vocalists test his arrangement skills. Witness this firsthand as MC Blu
Rum 13 and the U.K.’s beatbox wizard Killer Kela lend their vocals to the
four turntable power of DJ Vadim and the Scratch Perverts’ World DMC
Champion MR. Thing.

KING BRITT: Josh Wink’s partner at Philly-based Ovum Records, former Digable
Planets house DJ, and Sylk 130 band leader (check out When The Funk Hits the
Fan), Britt, world-renowned for his legendary DJ sets, ingeniously combines
old school jazz, house, funk, rare groove and new soul.

JEROME SYDENHAM: DJ/producer and founder of Ibadan Records shows his
afro-house/afro-beat sensibility with remixes for Femi Kuti and Nuphonic’s
Faze Action. His label boasts releases from Kerri Chandler and Joe Claussell
’s heavily anticipated full length album entitled “Language” set for release
in December OF 99.

TONY WATSON & DJ RYLO: Inspired by early hip-hop, electro-beats, house and
anything with soul, the first installment of their “Fourcorners” 12-inch
series, have afficionados buzzing, restoring faith in the bright future
ahead for LA producers.

DJ NOBODY: Ubiquity recording artist, and ex-KXLU Music Director, DJ Nobody
lends his selector skills spinning a diverse set of raregroove, avant-garde
jazz, folk and hip-hop. Check out his show “Nobody’s Home” noon-3pm PST on
http://www.dublab.com.
